One lonely backpack.

A little illustration of my son's backpack while at football practice. Maybe I should have been watching the practice though so I could have actually seen the 4 touchdowns he claims to have made! Just a tad more interesting than staring at a backpack! The other moms and dads were either watching the game or reading gossip magazines, so this group needs at least one backpacking sketcher!

Wednesday's Gratitude:
I am so grateful for the opportunity to be an art teacher for a day!

ya know, I think some of my favorite art of all is black and white line sketching. It's just so clean and beautiful.

Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a note! I never know if I should respond there or on your blog, so I figure I'll play it safe and come here too!

You know, I belonged to SCBWI for quite a long time, but I think I didn't renew my membership! OOPS! I've been a member since...gosh, I think around 1991 or something like that. I've been so busy with school that I forgot to renew... One year a won a free membership! That was fun!

I just found it! I can't believe they still have it on their site. I may have to enter another one. Who can afford membership when our retirement lost millions, huh? Okay, not millions..maybe 25 bucks. ;o)

I love seeing sketchbook stuff, it is such an insight into others' processes. Great sketch!
