This post happens to be my 2,000th post! I am giving away three prints of my artwork. The artwork comes with a white mat and measures 8X10 with the actual artwork measuring 5" square. On another note...
This was inspired by a conversation I had today when someone asked me how my summer was going and then when I started to respond, they jumped in with their own story. So, I just gave the gift of listening instead of my usual response of being annoyed.

My youngest's birthday is on Sunday too! He's turning 5. :-) happy early birthday to you! the hardest thing to do is to change my automatic, ingrained gut responses - i'd get annoyed too! so kudos to you for giving such a precious gift of listening! what a great way to look at an annoying situation.
