Handmade Day 4... boot socks!

Hello friends. Today on day 4 of 12 Days of Handmade Christmas, I am going to show you a quick and easy way to make boot socks. Seems that boots with cute socks sticking out the top are all the rage. I happen to have a beautiful pair of Frye boots but they are absolutely WAY too snug for thick socks. Bummer. But with this super quick and easy way to make super cute boot socks, my dilemma is solved.

Step one: Get some cute socks. These can be any size or length and you can even use the sleeves from and old sweater.

Step two: Cut off the top of the sock. IF you are using a sweater, cut off the sleeve to about the elbow.

Step three: Pull on your boots and tuck your new boots socks into the tops of your boots.

Step 4: If you want to take it a bit further and make these as gifts, they are easily embellished!

Happy stomping around in your stylish boot socks!

Daily Gratitude: I am so grateful for tender moments when my tween boy is sweet and nice for they make the bitter moments more tolerable!
