Materials needed:
canvas tote bag, iron on transfer paper, custom graphic printed from ink jet printer, and a hot iron
Step 1: Iron your tote bag so there are no wrinkles. (I ordered these from Amazon and they were $7 each!)
Step 2: Print out your graphic onto iron-on transfer paper paying special attention to FLIP YOUR DESIGN so it reads backwards! Trim around your design and round the edges.
Step 3: Following directions from your iron-on transfer paper, iron design onto canvas bag with scalding, hot iron.
Step 4: Let design cool and then slowly peel back paper. (Seriously... let it cool completely or you'll have a jacked up, bubbly design that you cannot re-iron. If you can't stand to watch it cool, walk away and come back later. My impatient self learned the hard way!)
Step 5: After you have peeled back the paper, you have a delightful tote bag to keep or give away!
Step 6: I like them so much, I made more to give as gifts and tucked some books inside!
Daily Gratitude: I am so grateful for a grand tour of a private high school today that I would NEVER in a million years have thought it'd be possible to send my glorious kid to! Never say never!
